As a Health Systems Specialist (Associate Group Practice Manager), assigned to Chief of Staff office of the Orlando VA Medical Center, responsible for providing assistance and support to the Ambulatory Care Operations Director/Group Practice Manager (ACOD/GPM) and all ambulatory care services supporting high quality, accessible, cost effective health care services while ensuring high-quality patient experience for Veterans.
What You'll Do
- →Duties include but are not limited to: Analyzes and evaluates major administrative aspects of mission-oriented programs.
- →Develops long-range policies, program plans, goals, objectives, and milestones.
- →Evaluates the effectiveness of programs conducted throughout the assigned VHA facility.
- →Identifies and develops ways to implement program goals and resolve problems.
- →Develops administrative regulations or guidelines for the conduct of program operations.
- →Processes and scheduling practice to ensure efficient and effective management of the clinic.
- →Analyzes interrelated issues of effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of mission-oriented programs.
- →Monitor, extract, and analyze data and obtain printouts and reports.
- →Supports clinical and administrative leads in implementing actions designed to improve operations.
- →Completes other duties as assigned.
- →Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
- →Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
- →Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- →Telework: Approved for ad hoc telework only.
