About the Role
About the Position: This position falls under the DoDEA HQ Education Directorate - Student Services Special Education Division - located at the Mark Center Building in Alexandria, VA.
What You'll Do
- →Monitor implementation of PK-12 Students with Disabilities Program at an above school level.
- →Deliver professional learning to staff that reflects best practices for students with disabilities and utilizes relevant data.
- →Monitor and support program improvement for PreK-12 Students with Disabilities at an above school level.
- →Monitor and support curriculum for PreK-12 Students with Disabilities at an above school level.
- →Compile and analyze data regarding educational outcomes for students with disabilities and communicate with all stakeholders.
- →Deliver professional learning to staff that reflects procedural knowledge of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and is based on relevant compliance data.
- →Provide technical assistance to staff that supports compliance and legal requirements prescribed within Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and utilizes relevant data.
- →Develop and revise policies and procedures that support continuous improvement for PreK-12 Students with Disabilities aligned with federal and local regulations.
