What You'll Do
- →You will plan, direct and manage Missile and Reentry Systems production and acquisition program for the branch, serves as the technical expert in support of the contracting office for all Branch Missile and Reentry Systems efforts.
- →You will interpret procurement and system requirements for contractors, subcontractors and government activities; negotiates contractual work statements which establish the contractor product assurance.
- →You will monitor design/development progress as advanced designs and design changes are incorporated into the FBM system and reviews production readiness and plans to incorporate such changes.
- →You will be responsible for developing funding requirements and life cycle cost profiles, managing financial performance and defending program plans to senior leadership.
- →You will maintain continual liaison with and frequently inspects the contractors' and suppliers' plants and Government activities to ensure program requirements are established and maintained.
- →You will closely monitor progress in production, testing, acceptance, and use of Missile and Reentry Systems hardware components to identify issues that may have a technical, schedule, cost or other programmatic impact.
- →You will serve as the program manager for the production activities related to missile and reentry systems components for both currently deployed and future development programs.
- →You will guide other engineers in development of components of the larger production budget and works closely with other unit heads and officials to formulate and complete the overall unit budget.
- →You will provide necessary coordination with facility, QA, and other officials within SSP to integrate facility operations fully into the overall FBM/TRIDENT programs.
- →You will coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders to develop contracts aligned with the organization's objectives, maintain relevant documentation and provide supporting data for resource requirements.
- →You will be responsible for engineering analysis, planning, management, and coordination functions necessary to provide timely, reliable and cost-effective production hardware to support program requirements.
Requirements
