Inventory Management Specialist (NX)

About the Role
This position serves as a property manager in the Material Management Division of the Logistics Service in a Veteran Affairs Health Care System (VA HCS) and supported catchment area, with responsibility for the inventory and lifecycle management of all non-expendable (NX) equipment in the assigned area(s).
What You'll Do
- →Duties include, but may not be limited to the following: Ensures equipment accountability and appropriately managed, assigned and monitored.
- →Analyzes data impacting procurement decisions.
- →Researches and conducts analysis of potential cost savings, efficiencies and process improvements using quantitative analysis and historical usage patterns.
- →Initiates and reviews reports for lost, damaged, or stolen property.
- →Maintains inventory management and control of non-expendable assets.
- →Recommends actions to eliminate problems involved in delivering services to inventory customers or in implementing policies.
- →Ensures accuracy of all personal property records and property documents.
- →Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
- →Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
- →Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm Telework: This position is not authorized for telework.

Requirements
