This position is in the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, Office of Defense Trade Controls Management (PM/DDTC/DTCM). DTCM serves the Directorate across a wide portfolio of critical programmatic and support functions. DTCM's four divisions manage operations, outreach, contract management and information technology (IT). For more information about the Directorate, visit: DDTC
What You'll Do
- →Leads efforts on cybersecurity analysis and assessments for the various technical systems owned and operated by DDTC.
- →Leads the DDTC security operations team tasked with all security management functions, including but not limited to conducting risk and vulnerability assessments for all information systems and applications within DDTC.
- →Liaises with internal and external stakeholders and partners to identify security solutions to enhance the Directorate's cybersecurity defensive posture.
- →Advises office management on security analysis pertaining to commercial defense trade control issues where IT security is a relevant factor.
- →Directs the creation of a targeted information security awareness training program for all DDTC employees, contractors, and approved system users.
