Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, El Paso Sector, Mission Readiness Operations. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →This position starts at a salary of $45,409.00 (GS-06, Step 1) to $59,031.00 (GS-06, Step 10).
- →The Mission Support Assistant provides clerical and basic office support and broad assistance to employees.
- →Duties and responsibilities include: Assisting higher graded staff in providing direct advice and guidance to employees and managers on various policy and procedural aspects of administrative programs.
- →Assisting in coordinating and monitoring property management, maintaining inventory of supplies, participating in annual physical inventory of property and equipment, and using automated systems to research and source products and services.
- →Monitoring, coordinating, and maintaining records and generating various management reports; performing office automation task; receiving and distributing mail.
- →Coordinating basic workforce matters, reports, and entry level staffing actions; updating and inputting information into personnel management systems.

Requirements
