The primary purpose of the position is to improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of health care by integrating personnel and fiscal processes necessary to maintain a successful account of FTE system and application of new technologies. The Analyst performs duties directly contributing to the administrative management of an integrated health care delivery system that requires the ability to apply the specialized principles and practices of health care management.
What You'll Do
- →The incumbent duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Maintains program requirements and criteria for health care operations.
- →Develops data reports, measures, trends analyses and functions in program areas for conformity.
- →Reviews material and monitors services regarding compliance with the standards of internal and external policies and regulations.
- →Notifies superior of those area where possible discrepancies exist with recommendations for initiating intervention.
- →Advises all levels of organizational personnel of programmatic (formal and informal methods) and security requirements for data access and advises staff members on best practices for making requirements operational.
- →Provides expertise in the design of decision support tools that improve efficiency, effectiveness and safety.
- →Applies validity of measures used to generate outcomes related to information management systems.
- →Develops and presents recommendations for improving administrative data-management methods, follow-up procedures, and timely compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- →Instructs staff members in the proper use of LEAF tools in compliance with policy, regulations and best practices; chairs/participates in a variety of information technology, health care management and information management committees as assigned.
- →Assists users in creating new LEAF portals to improve productivity for various processes.
- →Assists in compiling information to present to the Medical Center Director for use in planning, development, and operation of HCS programs.
- →Designs projects, develops structured information management systems, and recommends appropriate methodologies, including applicable statistical analyses, for planned activities that will result in new or improved process solutions.
- →Designs, developments, and supports the technology infrastructure for the extraction, storage, and reporting of clinical and administrative data using the LEAF program.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 04:30pm Telework: This position may be authorized for telework.
