The position is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), at the VA Western Colorado Healthcare System in the Office of the Director, and Organizational Compliance Office.
What You'll Do
- →Initiates, populates, and reviews reports for the Organizational Compliance Office.
- →Makes clear, concise, and effective oral and written recommendations, and be skilled at applying the principles, theories, techniques, and practices of professional auditing to problems encountered.
- →Acts independently and/or assists in planning, organizing, directing, and maintaining areas with emphasis on data validation, analysis and generation of reports associated with the facility Organizational Compliance office.
- →The ability to provide recommendations, support and education on documentation issues and assist in the development of guidelines for data compatibility, consistency, and monitoring for compliance to improve the quality of clinical, financial, and administrative data to ensure that every part of the information is completely documented and supported.
- →Will draft findings, conclusions, and recommendations ensuring that the work performed adequately supports conclusions reached and recommendations are consistent with audit objectives and reporting standards to provide a basis for actions to correct weaknesses and implement improvements.
- →Determines requirements for follow up actions based on desired improvements and recommendations.
- →Required to make clear, concise, and effective oral and written reports, and skilled at applying the principles, theories, techniques, and practices of professional auditing to problems encountered.
- →Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
- →Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Telework: Ad-hoc.
