About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade, 782d Military Intelligence Battalion, Battalion Staff, located in Fort Gordon, Georgia.
What You'll Do
- →Establishes, manages, supervises, monitors, and maintains responsibility for the oversight, development, planning, coordination, preparation, execution, and assessment of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT).
- →Serves as the principal advisor to the Battalion S3 and Commander on the overall operational readiness training of Battalion Computer Network Exploitation (CNE), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Computer Network Attack (CNA) capabilities.
- →Provides expeditionary cyber capability training on station and deployed as required to support operations, maintaining technical proficiency, and documenting training requirements.
- →Plans training activities or opportunities to support development and maintenance of technical skills and functional expertise of personnel conducting or supporting the execution of tactical or expeditionary Cyber operations.
- →Certifies and maintains credentials as an adjunct faculty instructor in subject(s) related to SIGINT support to Cyberspace Operations and expeditionary Cyber capabilities.
- →Develops and manages training opportunities, courses, and schedules for Mobile Training Team (MTT) events for local and geographically dispersed elements.
