About the Role

This vacancy is for a GS-0346-13, Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist located in the in Glen Burnie, MD.

What You'll Do

  • You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist and be responsible for serving as a supervisor of shared supply support services to the project lines involved with logistics, equipment and inventory management specialties.
  • Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
  • Typical work assignments include: Reviewing logistics support documents which pertain to inventory management, configuration changes, property management, etc.
  • Supervising Contracting Officer Technical Representatives (COTR) for logistics initiatives under the cognizance of the Product Line Division Manager.
  • Investigating logistics and logistics data management support problems reported by afloat and ashore activities.
  • Reviewing proposed or approved regulations, requirements, planning documents, orders and similar materials.
  • Monitoring logistics data management projects to assure appropriate Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) managers are aware of the impact on end users.
  • Coordinating and serving on logistics implementation and assessment teams.
